Overview
This 14-day Tokyo, Seoul, and Taiwan tour starts in Tokyo, where you'll spend the first four days exploring the city's vibrant culture and history. You'll visit iconic landmarks like the Imperial Palace Outer Garden and Nijubashi, experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, and take a day trip to the breathtaking Mount Fuji. On the fourth day, we'll fly to Seoul, where you'll discover the fusion of modern and traditional Korean culture. You'll have the opportunity to visit Gyeongbok Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and the National Museum of Korea and take a tour of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea. Finally, we'll head to Taiwan, where you'll visit the famous Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and the National Palace Museum. Itinerary
Welcome to Tokyo! After your arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo. Take time to get acquainted with the hotel and its amenities. If you have some free time, you may want to explore the neighborhood around the hotel and discover some local shops and restaurants.

Today, immerse yourself in Tokyo's rich culture and history with a guided tour that will take you to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions. Start your day with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony in a serene teahouse nestled in a beautiful Japanese garden. Then, head to the Imperial Palace Outer Garden and Nijubashi, where you can admire the picturesque scenery and take photos of Tokyo's most recognizable bridge. Next, visit Asakusa, a charming neighborhood that's famous for its historic Sensoji Temple, which dates back to the 7th century. Stroll through the lively Nakamise shopping street, where you can find a variety of souvenirs, crafts, and tasty snacks. After the tour, you can choose to continue exploring Asakusa on your own or return to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon.

Join a day trip to Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi by an air-conditioned coach. Get a chance to witness the stunning natural beauty of Japan from the Fifth Station at 7,607 feet above sea level (subject to weather conditions). Enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi. On a clear day, you will have a mesmerizing view of Mt. Fuji in the backdrop. Take a ropeway cable car ride into the Owakudani Volcanic Valley and admire the panoramic views of the hot springs below. Return to Tokyo by bullet train, and your tour concludes upon arrival at Tokyo station.

Upon arrival at Incheon Airport, your driver will greet you at the arrival hall and assist you with your luggage before escorting you to your transportation to Seoul. The drive typically takes around 1 hour, depending on traffic.
Once you arrive in Seoul, you will check in at your hotel and take time to settle in and get comfortable. The rest of the day is free at your leisure, so you can explore the area around your hotel or start planning your activities for the next few days.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day city tour of Seoul. First, visit Gyeongbok Palace, the royal family's primary residence during the Joseon Dynasty. Constructed in the 14th century, and the largest and most impressive of Seoul's five palaces. Watch the Changing of the Guards Ceremony and walk around the compound with your guide to see traditional Joseon architecture. Afterward, head to Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional Korean neighborhood where you can admire the beautiful hanok houses and learn about Korean architecture and culture. Next, visit Insadong, a bustling street with shops selling traditional Korean crafts, antiques, and souvenirs. Take some time to browse the shops and find some unique souvenirs to take home. Take a leisurely lunch break and try delicious Korean cuisine at a local restaurant. Your tour guide can recommend some great options. After lunch, visit Namdaemun Market, one of Korea's oldest and largest traditional markets. You can find everything from clothing and accessories to food and souvenirs here. Finally, visit N Seoul Tower, a landmark tower with stunning city views. Take the cable car up to the tower and enjoy the panoramic views from the observation deck. There are also restaurants and souvenir shops at the tower.
After a full day of exploring Seoul, return to your hotel and take some time to relax. The rest of the evening is free, so you can explore the area around your hotel, unwind, and prepare for the next day's adventures.

Upon arrival at the DMZ, your guide will take you on a tour of the area, including a visit to the 3rd Tunnel, Dora Observatory, and Dora Station. The 3rd Tunnel is one of four tunnels North Korea dug under the border to invade South Korea, and it was discovered in 1978. Dora Observatory offers a panoramic view of the DMZ and North Korea. Dora Station connected North and South Korea before the division. Your tour guide will provide you with fascinating insights into the history and significance of the DMZ.
After the DMZ tour, you'll have some free time to have lunch on your own. Your tour guide can recommend some great options.
In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of Korea, one of Asia's largest museums. The museum has an extensive collection of artifacts and exhibits showcasing Korea's history and culture from ancient to modern times. Your tour guide will show you around the museum and provide insights into the exhibits. Following the museum visit, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your evening at leisure.

Our driver will meet us at the hotel to take us to the airport for our flight to Taipei. Your friendly driver will meet you at Taoyuan International Airport after clearing customs to provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Taipei. In the morning, embark on a cultural journey through Taipei and discover the city's rich history and traditions. First, visit the awe-inspiring Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, a tribute to the late President Chiang Kai-shek, built with classical Chinese elements. Then, explore Martyr's Shrine, a masterpiece of Ming dynasty architecture, and witness the hourly changing of the guard ceremony. Later, visit the National Palace Museum, which houses an extensive collection of invaluable Chinese imperial artifacts and artwork.

In the morning, you'll depart from central Taipei and head to Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, located in the heart of Taiwan. Your first stop will be the charming Ita Thao Village, where you'll learn about the culture and traditions of the Thao tribe. Next, tour the lake by bus and visit some of the most well-known attractions in the area. See the impressive Ci'en Pagoda, a towering structure that offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The pagoda was built in honor of Chiang Kai-shek's mother and has become a Sun Moon Lake symbol. Your next stop will be the serene Xuanzang Temple, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the famous Tang dynasty monk Xuanzang. You'll be able to admire the beautiful architecture and learn about the history and significance of the temple. Finally, you'll visit the picturesque Wenwu Temple, a Taoist temple dedicated to the gods of literature, war, and the land. The temple is on a hilltop and offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. After the tour, you'll check in to your hotel.

Your first stop will be Fo Guang Shan, a Buddhist monastery famous for its impressive architecture and serene atmosphere. The signature of the monastery is the colossal statue of Buddha Amitabha in gold color. Tour Liuhe Night Market and sample a variety of delicious street foods and soak up the lively atmosphere of the market.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head off to Kenting National Park, a beautiful area known for its stunning coastal features, diverse marine life, and a paradise for surfers and divers. During the tour, you'll stop at several key attractions within the park, including Maopitou, a scenic rock formation that looks like a cat's nose, and Chuanfan Rock, a towering rock cliff that juts out into the ocean. You'll also visit the Eluanbi Lighthouse, which offers spectacular coastline views, and Longpan Park, where you can take a leisurely walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. After exploring Kenting National Park, you'll head north to Taitung, staying in a hot spring resort in Chihpen. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs and unwind after a day of sightseeing.

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you'll travel along Taiwan's stunning east coast, known for its natural beauty and unspoiled landscapes. We will make several stops at famous scenic spots along the way, including Xiaoyeliu, which boasts unique rock formations and panoramic views, and Sanxiantai, a beautiful coastal area with a unique eight-arch bridge. You'll also visit Shitiping, a geological park with unusual rock formations and tidal pools, and Fanshuliao, a unique canyon often compared to a smaller version of the famous Taroko Gorge. Before visiting the marble factory, you'll stop at Fanshuliao to admire the breathtaking scenery and take in the peaceful atmosphere of the canyon. After a day of sightseeing, you'll check in to your resort hotel in Hualien, where you can relax and unwind comfortably.

After breakfast, you'll visit Taroko National Park, one of Taiwan's most breathtaking natural attractions. This park is home to the world's largest marble canyon, high mountains, sheer gorges, and diverse wildlife and geological formations. During your visit, you'll stop at several famous attractions, including Cimu Bridge, Shakadang Trail/Lushui Trail, Eternal Spring Shrine, and Swallow Grotto. Each stop offers unique perspectives and stunning views of the natural scenery. After a thrilling adventure in Taroko Gorge, you'll visit Qingshui Cliff, a soaring cliff stretching 13 miles along the coastline. The view from the cliff is truly magnificent, and it's a great way to end your trip to Taiwan. After visiting Qingshui Cliff, you'll head back to Taipei, where you can rest and reflect on your unforgettable experiences during your tour.
