Itinerary
Our trip will commence with our arrival in Beijing, where we will be greeted by our guide and promptly transferred to our hotel. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure to discover the lively capital. With a rich history dating back 3,000 years and seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, Beijing offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity, making it an ideal destination for leisure activities.
With its pyramid-shaped glass and steel design, we will stay at the iconic Hotel Eclat Beijing, in an exclusive development with designer brands, cinemas, and a museum. The interior features stunning sculptures and paintings.

Learn about China's rich heritage as we explore its mysterious and powerful past. In Tiananmen Square, see the grand halls and monuments that reflect communism's history. Then we explore the Forbidden City, which served as the power base for Chinese emperors for centuries. An Imperial Palace Museum inside showcases the history of the Ming and Qing dynasties in four grand halls.
As a summer retreat for emperors, the Summer Palace was built in 1888. Admire the exceptional architecture of the palace while strolling through the tranquil gardens.

Soak up the stunning natural beauty that surrounds the historic Great Wall. We embark on a 1.5-hour scenic drive from the hotel to this iconic structure in Mutianyu. When we arrive, we set off on a walk along the wall, with plenty of time to admire the views of the fortification that cuts through the tree-covered terrain. Walking through the dense forests and pastures, we can see the watchtowers where guards once stood to protect the Chinese capital and Imperial Tombs from raiders.
We then return to our vehicle via cable car, providing a different perspective of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After lunch, we headed to Olympic Park, constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics. We admire the dramatic National Stadium, nicknamed the Bird's Nest, because the woven steel beams covering its exterior look like twigs in a nest. We also view the impressive Water Cube.
Lunch is at a local restaurant. Dinner is at a restaurant specializing in the iconic Chinese dish, Peking Duck.

Today we depart vibrant Beijing and fly to Xi'an to explore some of China's greatest cultural treasures.
Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province, marks the Silk Road's eastern terminus. It was once home to the ruling houses of the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties. Upon arrival in Xian, we embarked on our excursion in Xian.
Our first stop is at the Wild Goose Pagoda, a grand-tiered structure and classic example of ancient Chinese architecture built during the Tang Dynasty. Next, we explore the Great Mosque, China's oldest and largest Islamic Mosque.
Overnight at Xi'an Sofitel Legend on Renmin Square, offering French luxury and local cuisine in the world's most exciting city.

Discover the awe-inspiring army of Terracotta Warriors, who have stood in battle formation to guard their emperor for over 2,000 years until their accidental discovery in 1974. With 8,000 life-sized soldiers, horses, and chariots, each uniquely crafted, this UNESCO World Heritage site is an extraordinary archaeological wonder. After exploring the site, we'll transfer to Xi'an Airport for a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, our guide will warmly welcome and escort us to the Fairmont Peace Hotel near the famous Bund promenade and Nanjing Road's unparalleled shopping district. The hotel offers a perfect base for exploring Shanghai's breathtaking scenery and bustling city life. We'll spend the next two nights at the hotel, soaking in the city's vibrant energy.

Embark on an exciting full-day excursion that delves into Shanghai's rich cultural heritage and diverse architecture. Our journey begins at the stunning Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden that embodies the elegance and refinement of the Ming Dynasty. Next, we visit the Jade Buddha Temple, built in 1882, housing two precious Jade Buddha statues brought from Burma by a monk. The temple was destroyed during the Qing Dynasty revolution, but the statues were salvaged, and a new temple was built in 1928. We then take a leisurely stroll along the iconic waterfront Bund, featuring a captivating blend of European-style buildings from the 1920s and 1930s. During this period, the Bund was the epicenter of European trade in mainland China, leaving a legacy of breathtaking art déco architecture. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll venture to Xintiandi, where we'll explore the charming European-style villas and buildings of the Former French Concession. This fashionable district is renowned for its unique character and style, offering a glimpse into the city's fascinating history.
